Winter Weddings in Saskatoon

Every now and again, Saskatoon actually does have nice weather in the winter. Yesterday I definitely lucked out with it being so nice, but still keeping the snow on the ground! Lisa & Jeff were a very fun easy-going couple, and so clearly very in love. They celebrated with a small gathering of their loved ones for a quaint little ceremony, and plan to go to Mexico to celebrate! Here is a small sample of the photos from their special day!

A New Year!

More beautiful Saskatoon girls!

It’s times like this when I just really sit back and enjoy my job!! Getting to know so many great people, and meeting so many beautiful girls – like Ashley! Make-Up was again expertly done by Lisa Curtis of Make-Up In Motion! We had a blast moving from place to place to get the right shots, and here’s a preview from this beauty’s glamour session! Fall engagement session!

What better time of the year to do an engagement session then in the fall. It’s beautiful with the leaves & colors changing daily and you always get a different look. I am sure I will enjoy it just as much when the trees are bare and the streets are littered with leaves.  The colors are just fantastic right now, and when I met this lovely couple I found they had the same vision for beauty as I did!! We had a great time and moved to three different locations.  Clearly a couple who was in love and made each other laugh!! I wish them all the best for a long and lasting marriage!! More maternity shots!

I met with a lovely couple expecting their first baby in less than a month, and we lucked out with beautiful weather!!! We found a beautiful red tree and were able to get some great shots underneath, and no less than a week later the tree was bare!!! What timing eh!?? She was just glowing and it was beautiful to see a couple so much in love and so much in love with their child. I wish them all the best of luck and a happy & healthy baby!!!! You guys were amazing! Harvey & Wanda – 40th Anniversery Photos!

Well what can I say? It is so wonderful to meet a couple who has been together for 40 years, and still see them so in love and very happy! I just had such a great time with Harvey & Wanda, they were two of the funnest, sweetest couples I have met in a long time.

I am so excited, as I was recently contacted by a company selling cleaning products who wanted to use one of my photos to advertise in a Mom & Baby Magazine, and I am proud to present that ad to you now! This is the 16th picture of mine that has been published worldwide, and I am super excited!

Amy & Rod – Saskatoon Wedding Photography

When I first met Rod & Amy it was to do some couples pictures, and we had a blast! I loved the way the sunlight always seemed to make it’s way into their pictures no matter what the location.  Oddly enough the second time around with their formal wedding pictures, the sun ended up doing the same thing, creating such a beautiful light around them.  We went for the traditionally Saskatoon beauty for location with the formals, and used the dark clouds to our advantage towards the end of the evening.  They are such a fun, wonderful couple, people I want to know outside of my work!!
